What information is saved in my browser?

BookPublish keeps a few things in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off:

  • Your books and projects — cover settings, page count, colors, and (if you've loaded one into the Interior Formatter) your manuscript.
  • Saved covers, if you've saved any.
  • Small preferences and identifiers — the email you signed in with and your license keys, so unlocked books stay unlocked.

None of this is sent to us; it lives on your device. If you clear your browsing data, it all goes — see What happens if I clear my browser data? — so keep project-file backups of anything important.
