Most book trailers are a cover JPEG slid across a stock background. This is not that. The video renders the same wrap file your printer receives, on a 3D book built from your real trim size, spine width, and binding.
So a 180-page paperback looks like a 180-page paperback, and a 480-page hardcover looks like the brick it is. Nothing is approximated, because nothing has to be — the measurements already exist.

The same render, exported flat at the dimensions each platform actually wants, so you are not cropping a square out of a portrait at midnight.
Videos come out as MP4. That is deliberate, not a default: Instagram, TikTok and X all reject WebM, and Instagram will not accept a GIF at all — which is why the page-flip GIF that authors are still told to make is the wrong target now.
