What stays on your computer, what we can see, and keeping backups.

Do you store my manuscript or cover files?
Not unless you ask us to. The tools run entirely in your browser and upload nothing. There are three things that do put a copy on our server, and you start all three deliberately.
Are my files used to train AI?
No. Your manuscript and artwork never reach us, so they can't be — and wouldn't be — used to train anything.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your locally stored books are erased. Purchases can be restored by signing in; the projects themselves need a project-file backup.
Can anyone else access my book?
No. It's in your browser, and any copy on our server is tied to your account and reachable only when you're signed in. The realistic risk is a shared computer.
What information is saved in my browser?
Your books and their settings, your manuscript if you've loaded one, any saved covers, and small bits like your email and license keys.
How can I permanently delete a local project?
Remove a single book from My Books, or use "Erase everything on this device" to wipe them all — useful on a shared computer.
Should I keep copies of my downloaded files?
Yes. Save your final exports and a project-file backup somewhere permanent — your browser is a workspace, not long-term storage.
