Which tool to use, accounts, saving, browsers, and moving your work.

What is BookPublish, and what does it do?
A suite of browser tools that turn a finished manuscript into upload-ready files for KDP and IngramSpark — covers, interiors, front matter, mockups, and review copies.
Where are my books and projects saved?
In the browser you're using — not on our servers. That keeps your manuscript private, but it means backups are on you.
Which tool should I use?
A quick map — Cover Maker for the wrap, Interior Formatter for the inside, Front Matter for the copyright page, and Mockups/A+/ARC for marketing.
Do my files upload to your servers?
No. Your manuscript and cover art are processed entirely in your browser. The one opt-in exception is ARC Delivery, where you deliberately ask us to email copies.
Do I need an account?
No — you can use every tool and preview your work without signing in. An account exists so your purchases follow you to other browsers and devices.
How do I return to a book I previously started?
Open My Books in the same browser you used before — every book you've started is listed there.
Can I use the tools on a phone or tablet?
They'll load, but the Cover Maker and Interior Formatter are built for a real screen and mouse. Use a laptop or desktop for the actual work.
Which browsers are supported?
Any current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Keep it updated, and don't do real work in a private/incognito window.
Can I move a project to another computer?
Yes — download the project file on one computer and open it on the other. Your license keys move separately, by signing in.
How do I back up my project?
Download the project file from My Books. It's a complete, portable copy of the book you can re-open on any computer, anytime.
