Do my files upload to your servers?

No. The Cover Maker, Interior Formatter, Front Matter generator, Mockups, Social Pack, A+ creator, and ARC watermarker all run 100% in your browser. Your manuscript and cover images are read, processed, and exported on your own computer — they are never sent to us. You can open your browser's Network tab and watch: nothing uploads.

Nothing uploads unless you ask it to, and there are three ways to ask:

• Cloud backup. The ☁ button on a book in My Books uploads that whole project — manuscript included — to your account, so a cleared browser isn't the end of your book. It's one deliberate click per book, and you can delete the backup any time.
• ARC Delivery. You explicitly ask us to email review copies to a list of reviewers, so those files pass through our system to be sent. They're stored only until the download links expire (30 days), then deleted.
• Concierge. You send us the manuscript because we're setting the book for you. The kit and the files you sent are deleted 30 days after you first download the kit; the finished project stays in your account for 90 days so you can keep working on it.
