How do I return to a book I previously started?

Open My Books in the same browser you were working in. Every book you've started on this device is listed there; click one to reopen it in whichever tool you need.

A book you've already formatted comes back set the way you left it. The Interior Formatter reloads your manuscript and your own settings and shows you the book — it doesn't offer to format it again from scratch, and nothing you chose is quietly re-decided. You'll only be asked how to set a book the first time, when it has no settings yet.

If you want to start the setting over, Set it for me is still there in the formatter's panel.

If the book isn't listed, the usual reasons are that you're in a different browser or on a different device, or the browser's data was cleared. Full explanation and what to try: My project disappeared.

To avoid ever losing access, back up the project file and sign in so your purchases sync.
