HelpTroubleshootingThe PDF opens as a blank page.

The PDF opens as a blank page.

A PDF that looks blank is almost always a viewer issue, not a broken file:

  • Open it in a proper PDF reader — Adobe Acrobat Reader, macOS Preview, or your browser's built-in viewer — rather than a file-manager thumbnail or a quick-preview, which sometimes render blank.
  • Let it load fully. A large, image-rich PDF can show blank for a second before the page draws.
  • Re-download it in case the download was interrupted — see My download did not start.
  • Try another reader or device to rule out one app.

If the same PDF is genuinely empty in multiple real readers, re-export it from the tool. If that still fails, email us — see How do I report a problem without sending my manuscript?
