IngramSpark rejected my PDF. What should I check?

IngramSpark is stricter than KDP about specs. Check:

  1. Right profile. Export your cover with the printer set to IngramSpark, not KDP — Ingram's spine and wrap allowances differ, and a KDP-built cover will be the wrong size.
  2. Page count and trim match. The cover's page count and trim must match the interior exactly, or the wrap dimensions won't validate. See KDP says my cover dimensions are wrong — the same checks apply.
  3. Right file in the right slot. Upload the interior PDF as the interior and the cover PDF as the cover — mixing them up is a common trip-up.
  4. Bleed on the cover. The cover export already includes the required bleed; make sure you're uploading that export, not a cropped version.

Correct the flagged item, re-export from the right profile, and re-upload. If you're publishing on both platforms, remember each needs its own export — see Can I create both KDP and IngramSpark covers?
