Can I make a video of my book?

Yes. The Social Pack renders short videos from the same 3D book as your mockups, so the cover, the spine width, and the thickness are all your book's real ones — not a template.

You'll find it in the tool bar alongside Mockups.

The four videos

  • Showcase — a vertical MP4 of your actual book turning in 3D. The plain, always-useful one.
  • Teaser — opens on your publication date, peels one corner of a wrapper back, and stops before the title shows, signing off with your name. The most restrained of the reveals: a corner peel runs into the title quickly, so it stays a small flap.
  • Reveal — the whole wrapper lifts off and stops just under the title, with your date along the bottom from three seconds in. Shows the most of your cover — the art and your name, with the title still hidden.
  • Chapter — landscape, 22 seconds. The book stands, drops flat, opens, and the page rises to be read. The page is rasterized from your real interior PDF, so the type on screen is the type that prints. This one isn't a Reel shape — it's for YouTube, X, Facebook, a site hero, or an email header.

The first three are 15 seconds and vertical. The Teaser and Reveal need a publication date. The Chapter film needs a manuscript, which means you've run this book through the Interior Formatter — a cover-only project will say so rather than failing when you press Record.

Recording takes as long as the video

Recording happens in real time, so a 15-second video takes 15 seconds and the chapter film takes 22.

Leave the tab in front while it records. Browsers throttle animation in background tabs to save battery, and a throttled tab drops frames — you'd get a stuttering video with no error to explain it. Start the recording, watch it, then save.

Page color in the Chapter film

The Chapter film has its own White / Cream page-color choice, and it affects that video only. It deliberately does not change your book's paper setting, because paper feeds the spine width and the spine width has to stay correct on the cover you're uploading. If you want to change the book's actual paper, do it in the Cover Maker.
