What if my book contains legal, medical, or financial advice?

If your book offers health, medical, legal, financial, or other professional guidance, add the professional-advice disclaimer. The Front Matter generator has a checkbox for it, and it adds language most authors forget: that the content is for general information, is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional, and that readers should consult one for their situation.

This is standard, sensible protection for any how-to or advice book. It's general boilerplate, not legal advice for your specific case — if you're in a heavily regulated area, a quick review by an attorney is wise. See Is this generator providing legal advice?
