Does the exported PDF include crop marks or guides?
No, by design. KDP and IngramSpark want your cover as a clean, full-bleed PDF at the exact wrap dimensions — front, spine, and back as one image, with the required bleed included and no crop marks, registration marks, or guide lines on the file itself. Adding them would print them on your book.
The trim and safe-area guides you see in the editor are just on-screen helpers to position your text; they are not baked into the export. So the file you download is upload-ready as-is — you don't need to add or remove anything. (This is different from the interior PDF, which does embed a proper TrimBox for the printer.)
