Can I create mockups for a series?

Yes. In the mockup tool you can add the front covers of the other books in your series to a shelf-style arrangement, so a single image shows the whole set lined up — great for a series landing page or a "start the series" ad.

Add each sibling cover as an image, and the shot places them together. For individual per-book shots, just render each book from its own project.
